About Brava
Initially called "S. Joao", Brava is the smallest island in the archipelago. It was given the name of "Brava" in the sense of wild, by the flowery form that the island has.
What to do
After facing the 99 Curved Road, take a dip in the natural pools of Faja da Agua, or follow the pedestrian trail of Nossa Senhora do Monte. Do not miss the island's viewpoints and visit Nova Sintra.
